A rooftop garden and suite addition at Gramercy Park Hotel, with one of the city’s first opening metal-and-glass enclosures.
The 4,300 square feet of top garden and 3,700 square feet of high-end hotel suite / lounge spaces at Gramercy Park Hotel which was developed by Ian Schrager, Aby Rosen and in collaboration with Julian Schnabel. MA/D provided design and design development services, production of construction documents, MEP and Structural engineering consultant coordination, local Building Department approvals, and construction supervision for the roof top addition. The metal and glass enclosure by Roll-A-Cover was one of the first opening metal and glass structures in NYC.
